How do I book an appointment with you?
- The best way is to click the CONSULTATION link and fill out the form. You can also email me at hagertattoos@gmail.com or call the shop at 330-928-9833 to book a consultation. To book your tattoo appointment you'll be required to leave a non-refundable $50 deposit which will be subtracted from the final cost of your tattoo.
Where is the shop located?
- Empire Ink is located at 335 E. Cuyahoga Falls Ave, Akron, OH 44310 (about 30 minutes south of Cleveland, OH)
How much will my tattoo cost?
- I charge $100 per hour. Once I know what we're tattooing I can give you a rough estimate but I can't give you exact time frame for your tattoo. If you are working with a limited budget we can break your tattoo up into sessions to make it easier for you. Multiple sessions will be determined by your budget and how long you can sit for. Once I know what we're tattooing I can let you know roughly how long we would need for a first session in order to have enough to pick up where we left.
- I believe in taking my time to create the best possible tattoo I can. I will not purposely drag out a tattoo to scrape every last dime out of you but I won't rush through a tattoo either. I'm very critical of my work and when putting a piece of art on your body, quality should be the most important aspect. If money is an issue we will break it into sessions to make it easier for you to afford.
How soon can I get tattooed?
- My schedule is usually booked 2 months in advance. The more flexible your schedule is the better if you want to get in the soonest available date.
How can I get tattooed by you if I live out of state?
- If its not possible for you to travel then just check my travel schedule to see if I'm going to be in your area. Once that part is figured out then click the CONSULTATION link and fill out the form or email me at hagertattoos@gmail.com.
Do accept credit/debit cards?
- Currently the shop only accepts cash. If you can't leave a deposit in person due to distance then arrangements can be made. Due to the shop's "cash only" policy the length of your appointment will be determined by your budget. We do however have an ATM machine at the shop.
Can I bring friends/family with me?
- Yes, but... Due to limited seating we ask that you only bring 1 person with you unless others are getting tattooed that day as well (whether tattooed by myself or another artists at the shop). But only 1 guest per client will be allowed to sit with you while you're being tattooed.
Do you do cover ups?
- I prefer not to do cover ups but if you have a tattoo that needs covered we can go over the options. If I do not feel it is something I can properly cover I can suggest another artist at the shop who might be able to work with you.
Is there anything I need to do to prepare for my tattoo?

Is there any subject matter you will not tattoo?
- I will not tattoo anything that represents or promotes racism, sexism, rape, homophobia, is gang related or promotes child abuse. I will also not do any tattoos that disrespect our military.
